I like that this version allows the product to be installed on three machines - which was perfect for me. I am away that Microsoft want to move to an annual subscription model - I sure hate to have to continually buy licenses. I think that in the future - I will not rebuild machines instead just run them into the ground and buy a new one, in an attempt to avoid this kind of fee - but now that I think about it - the new operating systems on a future machines will probably expire - leaving me in the dust.... If you didn't like the Ribbon in Office 2007, you probably won't like it now, but we think there's plenty of utility in having a common interface tool across all the apps; it might be worth learning a new way of doing things if you want to streamline your work flow. Connectivity to Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server or later is required for certain advanced functionality in Office Outlook 2010.

We were happy to see that Office 2010 didn't litter our desktop with new shortcut icons, leaving it up to us how we wanted to launch the suite.

With Quicksteps you could custom create a macro that would automatically send that e-mail on with the click of a button.
OneNote 2007 users can also participate in a co-authoring session with OneNote 2010 users if shared notebooks use the older OneNote 2007 file format; however, co-author search, and page versioning, and compatibility with the OneNote Web App will not be available. Office is a worthy upgrade for those who desire new templates and visual styles, better ways of editing multimedia content in publications and presentations, and easier methods of collaboration. The ability to work from anywhere with the new Web apps is surely a big reason to upgrade if your job requires that kind of flexibility.
